And I loved it! I loved the taste of it and also because it was a sign that we were on the road to recovery!
So, I have to say, I just can't understand the British uproar about it...
For sure, you want to know what you are eating and its provenance, and I agree with that part of the argument, but frankly nobody is going to get sick by eating horse meat. Horses are not industrially fed, and had a mostly good life before being slautered. The same cannot be said of beef, specially in the UK, where "la vache folle" originated. So, please take the whole story with a little grain of salt (and pepper...) and rush to your nearest market in France to support the handful of "boucheries chevalines" left alive! It will be good for your health and your tastebuds!
